CRT which means Cathode Ray Tubes remained the standard for computer monitors through the 1990′s. CRT technology remained dominant in the PC monitor market into the new millennium partly because it was cheaper to produce and offered viewing angles.
         But even with the latest improvement on visual display, people still prefer the CRT monitors to the newly improved visual display known as the LCD Liquid Crystal Display because of it durability.
