Sony Mobile India launched the much-anticipated Sony Smartwatch in the subcontinent today, at an MRP of Rs 6299.
The Android powered watch was teased to launch in the country a couple weeks ago, so it’s nice to see it officially launched.
The Smartwatch is basically a micro display that can pair over bluetooth with ‘almost any‘ Android smartphone, and let you check your messages, or calls right from the watch itself. There’s even a couple compatible apps that work with the multi-touch 1.3-inch (128×128 pixels) OLED display. It measures 36 x 36 mm and is 8mm thick, with a weight of 15 grams.
